Hail to you!! I am very thankful that your kinsman have begun to teach me how to use this bow of mine. Yes i am a elf...but terrible with the bow. I was raised by hobbit you see...but thanks to the Elven Warriors my skills are improving. It started to snow so we stopped our lessons for the day.
Relax by the fire and have some stout ale and some warm bread. I look forward to your future visits!

The snow slowed down, so they head into the forest. After they get into the forest, Tathar begins to teach her how to use the bow certain ways, having her practice on a tree. After a little while, she is showing much improvement, and is able to fire a bow with much more accuracy than before. See? I've told you I could teach you; now, let's continue, and I'll show you all the different tricks you can use with a bow. They continue to work on it, with Fernelf's skills improving very much, and very quickly. You're a natural; even raised by hobbits, Elves will still be able to use bows well..

Fernelf, already feeling the callus developing knows without the help of this fine warrior she would be lost.
Do you think I should get a stronger bow and some fine arrows?...
Fernelf counts her arrows as she waits for further instruction.

Hmm..perhaps you could use a finer bow, and as for arrows, some more of those couldn't hurt as well. As for now, a basic bow is all you need, to just let you get a feel for it..
They continue to practice, and eventually he pulls out his own bow to show her a few more tips.

ack this one is much harder to aim...I must get my arms in shape...but actually now that I hold it...it is almost weightless.
Fernelf practices and finds that this is easier then she first thought.
Ach..I have to end my lessons for now as I have to go make sure food is prepared.
You shall have to stay and partake of our fine food as payment for your kindness this day Sirrah!

Of course, I'd love to eat. (I've got to go as well, so..)
They head back to get some food, as a small celebration.
We can continue it at any time, but I get the idea you have a general feel for a bow now, right?

Hey guys is this strictly a role playing thread or not?

It's just a thing between fernelf and I- I offered to teach her how to use the bow, in return for some goodies. So, no, it's not roleplaying, in fact I believe that's done with.
