I do believe Morg's next project is the Code of Conduct page. I have posted our current Code of conduct in the Sanctuary. Please take a moment and read it and add any suggestions. Of course do this when you have time...no pressure folks!!!

For this new website, will that mean this website will be deleted and we will only use the new one?

we will keep these forums. We have a current website or homesite here: www.geocities.com/safehavensofarda/SHoAhomes.html?1068063209384I laugh because everyone finds our forums..but few know we have a website ...strange they are both posted in the same area...chuckle. Once I found out Morg was going to do a Homesite for us...I stopped working much on our current one. Morg is very talented and he can add some extra "tricks". I love the colors he has picked out and so far it is everythin I hoped it would be. I cant wait to see the finished product!

Links page is finished. Unless there's something someone wants added to it. ;D
Also, I added a "thingy" at the bottom of the Links page for people to check up on virus threats and related stuff.

Code of Conduct page, as well as the About page, are complete as it stands. There's not much else to do but work a little on the format of the main page and for that, I'll take any and all input into consideration.
The new Safe Havens of Arda home site is officially open for business! ;D ;D

You're all very welcome. It's been a pleasure to work on the web site and I hope it brings us all much enjoyment for many days to come.
Also...should we put the FAQ up on the web site ?

I think it is a good idea...that way people can read it before going to the forums and maybe some of their questions would be answered...I find myself answering alot of pms from people and directing them to the FAQ.

I have updated the links to the SHoA homepage. If you come across an old Link let me know. Morg I think you can update any that you come across here. I did the one in the General section. I will do my sig. I have done many on the MEO forums. I will visit other Kinships this weekend and change them there also. Let me know if I missed any. Members that have the homepage in their signature(and this is encouraged on other forums and the MEO forums) change your homesite link to the new one when you get time. Thank you very much everyone!

I cant say it enough...you have done one amazing Job with the Web site Morg!! I just spent a hour looking at it. Is there a place for this anywhere...I think it helps to sum up what we are about.Maybe on the first page or whatever you choose. This is called "the SHoA Follows Standards set by the Original Fellowship" : We will have more of a Democratic type society within the SHoA. Let me explain if I may. Even though most of Tolkiens' peoples lived in a Totalitarian society..(I said most not all, I do not think the Hobbits did, although I do beleive most of the humans did), The original fellowship itself was more in line with a democratic type. Most of the members in the fellowship were leaders in thier own respect. They did not appoint a leader, instead they allowed the most appropriate individual in any given situation to lead them and guide them towards victory. We are well aware that yes there was some grumblings about certain decisions that were made, but heck if Tolkien had not included that his trilogy would have been much shorter. (lol). For reasons stated above, the SHoA will allow all members a say in the doings of our Kinship. Each member will have equal vote. Yes there will be at one point and time certain members that are elected for individual positions that will help organize the goings on of the SHoA. We will have a system in place that will be implimented during times of any discord within the SHoA. I hope to allow the natural leaders in my Kinship the chance to do just that. I also want to make sure that every member is aware they are an equal . I will really try to base alot of the SHoA's "standards" on that of the original fellowship. What do you think? if is is already on the homepage..I missed it and I was there a hour...let me know and I will get my daag eyes examined..chuckle
