There was an elf that was raised in Rivendell. He was raised with his mother and mostly stayed in the woods. One day when the tide of evil was strong an orc raid happened. The elf's mother was killed by the orcs. Enraged he set off to make sure that he got his revenge. One day he came back to Rivendell and joined the Rivendell Army. He was a scout and his job was to head to Rohan and seek the king of Rohan. He was sent with a proposition of another alliance as in the olden days. One day when he was traveling he got into a skirmish with a set of orcs, and was badly injured. He wandered injured for two days before he met some men. They offered help and patched him up. They didn't want anything in return. He thought this very strange and went on his way. When he delivered the message (the king accepted) he decided to head back and join the members. He walked back to the spot where he met with them and saw that they were not there. He was curious and searched the area for any clue of where they may have gone. He found nothing that was of much help. The next day he set off back to Rivendall and asked people if they knew these men. Not one person seemed to know them. Then he went inside a local tavern and asked around, one person told them where they stationed a base. Howerver it was very far away(the city of Helderon). He decided to journey to Helderon, he resupplied and started on his quest.
He was walking through the wilderness, when he heard a small rumble. "Who's there!" he shouted in alarment. Then after a couple of seconds of looking he let out a chuckle it was only his stomach. "Man I have got to get some food," he stated. Chuckling he sat down and opened his pack to see for food he could eat. Suddenly his smile turned to a frown when he figured out all he had to eat was lambas bread. Then he looked again and there was more lambas bread. "I guess it's time to show some of my fishing skills" he said to his horse holding his stomach. He mounted his horse to travel to the nearby Lake Helios. He and his horse traveled on. His horses hooves were making a glop glop sound as it hit the mud. Eventually they reached the lake and he hoped of his galnt steed and got his spear and bow just incase he sees some game. He went aboout knee deap into the crystal clear water of the Helios. He stared keenly in search of some fish. suddenly he saw a fish squirm at his feet silently he lifted his spear and jammed it into the breast of the fish and lifted it and set it in his basket. He continued like this for two hours. Finally he caught a total of 48 fish and wrapped them in a special king of pouch made specially for fish that were freshly caught. Next he found some branches next to a nearby tree, and started a fire. he started cooking and cooked only 4 two for him and two for his horse. He cooked as fast as he could for he was really hungry. Then he put it at the feet of his horse and they eat in silence as he thought of glorius Rivendall. He vowed he would return to his homeland before he set off on another adventure. He sat and smiled. He hardly rlized he fell asleep for he was dreaming for a while.
The next day he packed his things and loaded his horse and set off. He would take a stop at the merchant town of Shijro, a small merchant town about 45 miles away. He traveled without realizing how much time had passed. it was about 2 hours until he finally saw a tiny village on the horizon which he thought must be Shijro. "Awwwwwwwww finnally, I thought we were'nt even close my good friend," he said to his horse. With that he told his horse to travel faster so they would make it there before the sun fell. They were close to Shijro when rain started to fall so they went even faster and eventually ended up inside the village. They decided to stay at the local Blue Moon Tavern for the night and continue their journey tomorrow.
It was late into the night when he heard a horn of some sort echoeing through the town. He awoke and listened closely and learned it was an orc horn. What were orcs doing in Shijro he thought to himself. He looked out his room window and saw a band of about 20 orcs walking through the city. Silently he crept outside and prepared an arrow. He let the arrow fly and he hit an orc dead on. The orc let out a moan that alerted the other orcs. And they said something in the dark languge that must have ment KILL HIM. For they charged and the woodelf prepared another and released, then repeated he killed about 7. However now they were about 2 feet away. What must have been the captian threw a dagger and it hit woodelf in the arm. With his other hand he drew his dagger, and stabbed the orc in the heart and killed him. He stabbed and was fightng then an orc cut his leg. Luckily by that time townsfolk that were armed came to his aid within ten minutes they slaid the orcs. Woodelf was unconxious, and the next thing he knew he was back in his room he rented awake with a bandge on his leg and arm. He was sweating heavily, and had a bad headache. None the less, he awoke, dressed, and went for some ale and grub before he would continue on to Hulderon. He had a pint of delicous ale, and some boar meat which he thiuroughly enjoyed. He then stood up and headed for the door when a man came and praised him for the night previously. "Your welcome, kind sir," he said with glee upon his scared but kind face. As soon as he exited the inn there was a crowd of people applauding him for his bravery. He thanked them graciously for their kindness and set off again on his journey.
The next day he was only a mere days ride from Hulderon. "Well my friend, we will be seeing these people soon" he said to his horse. "We will found out what they are like." He paused and looked at the beautiful wilderness which he loved since he was a lad. He realized that if the forces of Sauron and Saruman were not haunting fair Middle Earth how beautiful, peaceful, and joyful our lives would be. He thought before he mounted his steed and continued toward Hulderoth and hopefully comrades.
Within 2 hours Woodelf was in the city of Hulderon. The station for the group was greatly noticeable. He entered to find many people, both healers and warriors alike. He noticed a very short elf (about 5 feet in height) and went to speak to see how he could join this group. "Hail fellow elf, is it thy how run this place?" he asked. "Why yes, and you may call me Fernelf or Finduilas Ancolimon, if you wish to join the Safe Havens of Arda we have a parchment and paper over there which is NOT an application just so we can learn to get to know you better" said the elf. Why I will do that right now fernelf. So to this day the woodelf is a proud warrior for the SHoA, also known as the Safe Havens of Arda.......
