I'm not sure if this qualifies as a poem...or what you'd even call it. I wrote this for an ex-girlfriend, whom I didn't want to lose but as such things tend to happen, I know when to let go and let fate do it's work.
If the world were to be without you, then let me go. If the world were to have no sweet flowers such as you, then let me go. If the world were to have no music such as your voice, then let me go. If the world were to have no stars to shine as your eyes do, then let me go. If the world were to have none such as you, then let me go. But if another world has these things I crave, then, I beg of you, let me go.

a lovely poem..yes it is a poem.
It is bittersweet. Funny how we mature as we gain experience in life.
